The Annual Fall Festival
This festival takes place in the start of October without fail. It’s run so faithfully for the good of the community – any proceeds go towards those who are located close by and in need. Funds from the booths and crafts organized at the festival go towards the purchase of groceries, essentials and medical expenses. If you happen to head there in the first two weekends of October, pop by the booths to purchase boiled peanuts or apples for a good cause! Recently, a sasquatch museum was constructed in Cherry Log, termed Expedition: Bigfoot! Since 2016, visitors can explore Bigfoot’s storied history, or bear witness to relics left behind from alleged Bigfoot sightings. Head to the exhibition for a little novelty and excitement.
